Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings

Seriously one of the best jobs I've had working with some of the most talented and kind Cast and Crew. I was brought on as one of many clever Concept Artists in the Art department. All under the direction of the beautiful Sue Chan, our Designer. I've never met a more lovely and clever person, Sue is a pleasure to work with and I'm looking forward to future projects together.

Below are some of my favourite concepts I was fortunate to work on, some made it in the film and others did not. Regardless, every item was so much fun to work on and I got to pick up new skills from the clever people around me.

Ten Rings scenic and vfx concept

Ten Rings Early concept - I was toying with the idea that the rings were made from a fossilized mineral made from star not far off from Maklu V. Space worms created tunnels throughout creating this unusual pattern.
